As you enter into Thanksgiving this week, let it remind you that thanksgiving is not just an annual occasion, but should be a daily practice in your life. The measure of what you have is based on what what you PERCEIVE you have. It takes “appreciation” to make the good things in your life a REALITY.
Having a grateful mindset has a positive affect on your mood and outlook on life. It gets your focus off what you don’t have and places it all into the things that you do. It’s easy to forget how good you have it when you are too busy focused on the things that are wrong or that you feel are lacking.
